Wedding Week

We are home from an amazing wedding week!!  It was so much fun hanging out with my sister and helping her put the final touches on her wedding!!  The kids and I flew out to Kansas City, MO last Tuesday and stayed with my sister and her friend, Heather (she flew in from Clovis, NM).  We went and got our toes done on Wednesday and then my parents drove in from Fayetteville, AR Wednesday night.  Thursday we decorated and had the bachelorette party and then Friday Josh flew into town and we had the rehearsal and dinner!  Saturday was the BIG DAY!!  It was gorgeous!!  Everything about the day was AWESOME (minus the humidity)!!  

Lindsey and Steve's friend Peter has a motorcycle and the first thing Garrett said was, "Dad would LOVE this!!"

The house we were staying at had a bird nest on their front door and the last day we stayed there one of the egg hatched.  We saw this tiny little hairless bird that kept doing this......

PEDICURES!!

Bachelorette Party!!!  We met at Texas Road house for dinner and then went over to one of Lindsey's friends house for gifts and fun!!  She had the room decorated in panties!!

The gifts!!!  We had Lindsey open each gift and then everyone came up with a name for that "outfit" and we put them in these little pink bags and wrote the name on the bag.  Lindsey is going to line their honeymoon room with these bags and each night (and probably day) Steve can pick a bag!!  

After the bachelorette party we met with with Steve and the groomsmen!!

Her last single night!!!  She spent it with her mom, dad and bigger sister eating Tiramasu and packing for the honeymoon!!

So she looks nice and calm but her stomach is turning inside out!!!  She can't WAIT!!!!

After the wedding (sorry I didn't get any pictures during the ceremony....I was busy holding my sister's bouquet and making sure her dress looked good!!)

For those of you who don't know, Lindsey and Steve chose to wait to kiss on the lips until this day!!  They had NEVER kissed on the lips until the "You may kiss your bride!"  This picture wasn't their first kiss (because again I was on stage with them) but they didn't mind reenacting the kiss for me afterwards!!
