Curly Hair...Part 2

This was the end result this morning....I would say an overall success!!!  Haylee loved it.  She told everyone today that she had "braidy hair"!!  She couldn't stop feeling it and talking about it!!!  It's so much fun to have a little girl!!!

Haylee's Wavy Hair...Part 1

Haylee has absolutely NO body to her sweet little baby fine hair!!  It's getting long and is super pretty but it does NOTHING!!!  I've tried to curl it, scrunch it and it is flat in a matter of minutes....so tonight we're trying something new!!!  She sat so well and read books and watched TV while I braided her hair!!  She was so proud of it!!  Well see what tomorrow brings!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I'm hoping everyone wore green today for St. Patrick's Day and if you didn't you are LUCKY you weren't around my children because they were a little pinch happy!!!  Our St. Patrick's day was a lot of fun this year because Garrett learned all about it at school!!  He even had to build (AKA Daddy had to build) a Leprechaun trap!!!
A rainbow is  MUST!!!

Rainbow trail...very tricky!!!

Leprechaun's are very naughty and don't obey signs so Garrett thought it was a good idea to tell them they weren't allowed....which would really make them want to come that much more!!!

That sneaky Leprechaun!!

It snowed this week and Garrett said he was ready to go to San Diego were it was warm!!
....and Haylee wanted to "join" the snow...whatever that means?!?

Last week it was almost 70!!!  Crazy spring weather!!

Sweet Baby Avery Godwin!!!  Look how big she's getting.  Here she is back in December!!!

Here were our meals for the day!!!  The kids woke up to Lucky Charms!!!  Then for lunch they got GREEN Mac & Cheese and for dinner I fixed a roast with green mashed potatoes and rolls and green cream soda to drink. To top it all off we had green sugar cookies for dessert.

I need to fix green food more often....the kids ate GREAT!!

Oaklen Anthony's Birth Story

I had the most amazing and exciting opportunity to photograph the birth story of
Oaklen Anthony
3/4/2012 at 12:47am
7lbs 15oz & 20in

My friend Amanda asked me several months ago if I would want to be there for her delivery and photograph it.  I was thrilled to have that opportunity!!  It was such an amazing experience....we thought she was going into labor every day for about 2 weeks, but the perfect time came and it was beautiful!!!  Amanda had an amazing natural delivery and did absolutely awesome!!

Here is a peak at Oaklen's Birth Story!!
