Haven't fallen off the face of the earth

So it's been a while for me....and I'm so sorry!!  I worked 7 days in a row, then had 2 days off (which included a bridal shower hosted at my house and a birthday party), then off to New Mexico we went!!  We spent a week in the mountians with NO service, phone, tv, or internet!!  We had a BLAST!!  We are in Clovis now and enjoying family, but I haven't had any time to spend on the computer.  I'm hoping to spend some time tomorrow during naps to get some pictures posted!!!  Just wanted to update everyone!!   I haven't forgotten about all you!!

Week full of Fun!!

I know, I know....I'm slacking!!!!  I haven't posted pictures in a while!!  Here you go......pictures of the kids, because I know that's all you care about!!!  :)  Garrett was eating ice cream and Haylee (my little climber) climbed up in his chair with him just said "peeese, peeeese"!!

Last week Garrett finished his second set of swimming lessons.  He's becoming quite the little swimmer!!  On the last day of swim lessons they let the kids slide down the slide which Garrett chickened out doing last time around.  The night before I asked Garrett if he was going to go down the slide and he said, "NOPE!!!"  I told him if he did I'd take him to the toy store and let him pick out something.  His response, "I PROMISE I'll do it!!  I'm NOT lying!!  I'll slide down the slide!!!"
When it was his turn he stood up there, looked down the slide and turned around to go down the stairs.  I was standing in the observation deck and before he went down the stairs he turned around and looked at me.  I shugged my shoulders and he quickly turned around and dove on his stomach down the slide!!!  It threw every one off guard!!
This little girl was scared to jump in by herself and Garrett said, "You can do it!!!  I have faith in you and she (the instructor) won't let anything happen to you....I'm not lying" (the I'm not lying is his new phrase!!)
Garrett's wild man jump!!!
Haylee during swim lessons!!

A trip to the zoo park after swim lessons

We started Garrett in taekwondo a few weeks ago and he LOVES it!!  It seems to be doing him really good too...plus it's a good way to expend energy!!!  :)
Again Haylee waiting on brother!!!  I promise baby girl, you'll get your turn....someday!!!

Our life group met at a park today and had an ice cream social with several other life groups.  Haylee I think had the best day of her life!!  We have gone to parks before but she just kinda stands there and looks around, today she was totally into it!!!
"What should I do? I'm not sure what this place is.  So many kids screaming and laughing, kids running around, black rubber on chains going back and forth almost hitting me, dogs running around.....why does my mom keep bringing me here?"
"This is fun......"
"Mom, you are so weird, what is this thing?"
".....oh my"
"That was AWESOME!!!  I like this place!!!"
"I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!"

(I promise that's not the ONLY shirt Haylee has...it just so happened that everytime I took pictures she was wearing it...plus some of those activities were all in one day (swim lessons and zoo trip and taekwondo and park :)

We took a family vacation this weekend to Seattle.  It was really nice to get away and we saw so much in two days!!  We left town around noon on Friday and returned home about 4pm Sunday.  We did SO much, so I'm warning you now....you must have time to look at this post, because it's a LONG one!!!

To start our trip off we visited the Museum of Flight.  I thought of you the entire time Dad.  You and Grandpa would have LOVED it but we would have needed more than 2 hours to visit it....it would have taken all day!! :)

AIR FORCE ONE!!!
Couldn't help myself!!
How cute is this!!!!
I have never even heard of this airplane!!!  Concorde!!  It's crazy!!!  It was SO narrow inside, but suppose to be super fast!!

After the flight museum we went to our hotel where Garrett and Haylee got to swim.  Garrett LOVES to swim and is getting so good at it too!!  Haylee is quiet the fish too.  I had to take her out because she wouldn't stop putting her face under the water it was scaring me!!  :)

The next day we got up early, packed our bags and took off for the city of Seattle!!!  You think I'm lying....we toured SEATTLE!!!!  We first stopped by the Seattle Aquarium, which is located on the waterfront!!
It's Nemo and Dori!!!
After we finished up at the aquarium we walked to the famous Pike Place Market!!!  It was CRAZY!!!  So many people, so much stuff, goreous flowers, the orginal Starbucks, and flying fish!!!
Do you see the kid in the back...he has a hoodie on, they are thowing the fish to him.
We ate lunch at Pike's Market and then took off to the Pacific Science Museum....a little over a mile walk.  The picture above on our walk...the kids were NOT in the mood to take pictures, as you can tell!!
I told Garrett we were going into a Grocery store....it was extremely bummed...then he saw this!!!!
This is how Haylee enjoyed the museum!!
They had this butterfly room....it was amazing!!  It was a room full of butterflies!!  It was so warm and smelled fantastic!!  One tried landing on Garrett and he flipped out!!!  It was so funny.  Now Josh teases him and tells him he's afraid of butterflies!!
I felt like a hamster in a wheel!!
The view from the courtyard of the museum.
Josh took this picture...probably the funnest picture ever!!
Mommy riding a really scary bike....it was pretty cool though....Josh wouldn't do it (I think he was scared!)
After we finished up at the museum we walked over to the Space Needle...but first we stopped by this carnival so Garrett could ride the rollercoast!!
After the ride....Garrett, "I am NEVER riding a rollercoaster AGAIN!!!"
Standing in the LONG line to go to the top of the SPACE NEEDLE!!!

The view from the top!

On the elevator on the way to the top one of the workers that rode up with us let Garrett stand in front to see the view.  She started talking about different facts about the city as we were going up and then garrett says, "I CAN SEE THE WHOLE CITY!!!"  The whole elevator started laughing!!
Haylee was getting really tired of sitting in her stroller and waiting in lines so I let her walk around the space needle!!
Josh entertaining Haylee with my phone while we stood in another line to go down the elevator

After the Space Needle we walked back the over mile walk back to the water front to go on a bay cruise.

It's hard to see but Mt. Rainier is in the background...its coming through those clouds!
US Coast Guard
This boat was HUGE!!  It holds over 8,000 semi truck beds!!!!!

We then went to dinner at the Outback Steakhouse and went to bed.  We were exhausted....are you?

After a very good nights rest we got up to go to the zoo!!
After the zoo......we are HOME!!!!!!  What a wonderful weekend, but we are glad to be home!!!
