Please continue to keep Garrett in your prayers

I just wanted every to keep Garrett in your prayers.  I know many of you are still praying, but PLEASE keep praying at least until we hear that he is ok.  He is doing great, emotionally, but his little body is still healing.  It has been a challenge to keep him down.  All I can say is my child is getting more than the recommended 2 hrs of TV time a day!!  :)  Here is a picture of Garrett's fracture....a visual of how serious this truely is.

PS.  Parent's please don't let your child in the basket part of the shopping basket and don't EVER take your eyes off them!!

The BEST one of Lindsey and Steve

I forgot this one!!

Wedding Bells

Steve, my sister's boyfriends proposed to my sister last Saturday and then on Tuesday they came out to Oregon to spend Thanksgiving with us. We had a blast together and I was honored to take some engagement pictures of them! :)

Rough Week

Last Monday Garrett had a really bad fall and hit his head (he was confused, clumsy and vomiting). We ended up taking him to the ER and then home that day. He seemed to be doing ok until Saturday. We noticed then the whole side of his head was soft (like a water balloon). We took him back to the pediatrician who sent us to the ER for a CT scan and overnight observation. He has a fracture, a large bleed between the scalp and skull (that’s why his head is soft), and he has a small subdural hematoma (brain bleed). So far he is doing very good, and acting almost like himself. However if he receives any more trauma, even slight, it could be catastrophic. We have to keep him calm for about the next month. We got lots of puzzles and other inside toys. The doctors’orders are no running, jumping or rough housing.
So the big white border is his skull and the big bulge on the left side of the photo is the blood on the outside of his skull (why his head is soft)
The bright white right as the skull curves is the brain bleed...the fracture is right under the bleed.
Garrett being so good!!
Me good.....couldn't be!!
This is how still I was during the CT Scan!!  NO DRUGS FOR SEDATION FOR ME!!!  YAHOO!!!!!!

Please continue to keep Garrett in your prayers.  Please pray for a spirit of calmness this month and complete healing of his brain!!

A little bit of everything

Oregon in the fall is SO gorgeous!!!  If anyone wants to come visit us you MUST come in the fall!!!  We went to the nature park the other day to let the kids run off some steam and I could soak in the fall air and beauty.

Garrett and Addy predending....Addy is the princess and Garrett was the prince!!

Garrett had is first sleep over....with two girls!!!  :)  I was actually babysitting some friends girl from church, but Garrett was so excited to have a "sleep over".  They got to watch a show right before bed.....a show about a little angel, it was a sweet little show with NO scary stuff AT ALL!!  I very sweet show probably shown at Sunday School throughout the nation...this is how the kids responded (mainly Haylee and Cassie).

I am LOVING the season of holidays....first it was pumpkins.....now EGG NOG!!!  Here are our egg nog pancakes...which by the way are AMAZING!!!!

I had fun today!!!  I organized our messy spices AND made Haylee a dress!!
