Haylee's Growing

Haylee is gettng so big and doing more and more all the time. She is so laid back and easy going (thank GOD...I hope she stays that way!) She's trying to sit up. She has the side to side balance but we're still working on the front to back. She is also a master at rolling now.

Off to Work!!

I started my job today......well kinda. This week is new employee orientation from 8-5 ALL WEEK LONG!!! I'm so excited though. This place is HUGE...as you can tell from the picture....that I DID NOT take....the wonderful world of the internet. I work at Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Oregon Health and Science University consisit of OHSU Hospital, Doernbecher, VA Hospital, Shriner's Hospital and TONS of clinics....NOT to mention medical school, dental school, nursing school, etc....Most of the buildings are connected which is pretty cool....I got to eat with Josh today. Parking is CRAZY though. To park on the hill (the hospital is located on top of a hill in downtown Portland (the picture with the great view is from the top of the hill) it cost $10 a DAY!! Yeah HOW CRAZY IS THAT!! You can either park at the bottom of the hill and take this tram up or the bus in from your house. THANK GOODNESS I WORK NIGHTS....Parking is free!!!! The other picture I included is the tram...I guess it's a HUGE attration here in Oregon.

School Has Started

Well school started on Monday and all I'm thinking right now is......WHAT DID WE GET OURSELVES INTO!!! I am SO glad I'm on this end of it and NOT Josh's end!! Josh leaves the house around 6:45am and doesn't get home until about 7pm and then is studying until about 10pm!!! They worked on cadavers the FIRST day!!! I know he can't wait until Saturday!! The kids and I are managing. I can tell already we need to find some play dates or I'm just going to want to go shopping and we can't afford that!!
I start my job Monday!! I'm kinda nervous now because every time Garrett gets up to go to the bathroom or Haylee cries in the middle of the night I think of Josh and how he needs his sleep!! I think I'm going to try to work a couple of weekends at least so if he does have to get up in the middle of the night it won't be a few hours before he has to be off for school!!

Brother and Sister

Here's a picture of my two beautiful children!!! I am a little biased though!! Garrett got that shirt before Haylee was born and I found Haylee's shirt the other day at the outlet mall!! I hope they grow up to be best friends!!

Aquarium

While we were at the beach house my parents wanted to take Garrett to an aquarium. Here are some pictures there.

Mom and Dad rented a beach house and we went up to Depoe Bay with them for a few days. It was SO pretty and we had a GREAT time!! We saw all kinds of whales and sea lions!!! One night the sunset was so beautiful. Garrett had a blast playing with Grandma and Grandpa!! Here are a few pictures we took while at the beach house!!

Another Cake

We had our friends, Ivan and Emily, over tonight to have dinner with my parents and sister so I decided to make another cake!!

LINDSEY IS HERE!!

Lindsey came to see us on Aug. 5th and stayed a week. It over lapped with Grandma and Grandpa but she had to go home early because of her RA job. Garrett had so much fun with her though. We went on walks, she built a huge tent in his room for him and just played hard with him. He loves having company!!!

Painted Toe Nails

I was painting my toe nails tonight and Haylee was lying right beside me watching. She was looking at me and I know if she could have talked she would have been saying "paint mine too!!!" so I DID!!!!

Waiting for Lindsey, Grandma, and Grandpa

We are SO excited because Lindsey is coming Wednesday and Grandma and Grandpa are coming next Sunday!! We can't wait for them to get here. We're just trying to pass the time until they do arrive!!
