I Feel Free

As many of you know we have been worried about Natalee.  She has not been meeting some of her milestones as fast as the first two and her muscle tone is not the greatest.  She didn't want to sit for a long time or move her hips and legs.  After some therapy and some adjustments she started sitting and moving around a lot better but was still not wanting to put any weight on her legs.  When held up she literally looks like she's sitting on air!!
After months of therapy, going to different doctors, and no one being able to give us clear answers......we finally have one!!!  On Tuesday she had an appointment with an Orthopedic Surgeon and he told us she has
tibial torsion.
Tibial torsion is when the shin bone is rotated (hers in internally) causing her feet to turn in.  This is more than likely due to her position in my uterus.  There is nothing you can do and should completely resolve it's self by age 4-5.  She does not need any more therapy or any type of braces or special shoes.  She will crawl and walk (it may take her a month or two longer than other kids her age) but she will be just fine!!!
This is such a weight off my shoulders!!  Although my gut told me everything was fine there was always this feeling of....but "what is the next doctor going to say?"
I AM FREE to enjoy my baby and enjoy her babiness!!!
