Easter

After such a fun Spring Break we had to finish it off with a great Easter....and we did!!  Saturday we went to an Easter Egg Hunt with our church and Sunday we had a great church service and then a some friends over for a great dinner!!

Spring Break...Part 2

Spring break has ended and we are ALL feeling it!!  We had such a fun spring break spending time as a family and we did SO much.  After our weekend get away/camping trip we came home, rested a day and went back to the coast and rented a little camping cabin (big enough for 2 bunk beds and a futon…LITERALLY!!) for a night.  It was SO much fun.  It felt like camping but there was no tent and we were warm!!  While we were there we went crabbing with our friends and had a blast!!  It was rainy and cold but SO MUCH FUN….oh and the crabbing didn’t go so well either!   We were only able to keep 4 crabs and they said usually they are catch so much they don’t know what to do with them.  Oh well it was awesome anyway!!

These are the little cages you put bait in (chicken or fish) and throw in the water.  The crabs can get in but can't get out.  After a while you go back and pick them up.  The only thing is the crabs have to be so big and they have to be male in order to keep them.  We were catching all females!!

...but he overcame his fear and accomplished his goal!!!

Annie at the beach!!  She LOVED it!!!  When we first got there and we let her off her leash she took off straight for the ocean...she had a rude surprise when she hit it!!  It was hilarious   Poor puppy didn't know what to expect!!

On our way home we stopped for at the Tillamook Cheese Factory for some ice cream and Josh reminded me it might be our last time there!!  HOW SAD!!!!  We sure did enjoy it though!!!

Don't bother looking at my roughness...we were just camping...and do you like Miss Pippy Longstocking's hair!!!  She LOVED it!!

We had some friends over Wednesday for Dayloni’s birthday!!  And then Thursday we took the kids to the zoo and finally saw the baby elephant!!

29 Weeks

I hit 29 weeks last Monday!!  WOW!!!  This baby is going to be here before I know it!! 

Spring Break 2013...Part 1

Spring Break 2013 is our LAST spring break in Oregon...and we are going to make it a good one!!  We started off the week by taking a small trip!!  We got a groupon for a hotel in Astoria, OR and booked our night for this weekend.  Some friends from church offered to take the kids camping with them so we had a kid free weekend!!  Our friends Markus and Dayloni came with us and we had a blast!!!

After dropping the kids of we had to stop by and shoot some guns (that was NOT my plan).  It was fun though!!

Once we made it to Astoria we ate lunch at this awesome little fish and chips boat!!

We also went and saw the Astoria column.

The next morning after breakfast we borrowed bikes from our hotel and went on a bike ride!!

The movie the Goonies was filmed in Astoria so of course we had to see the house.

Catch Up

So not a lot of interesting such has been going on here...at least not anything worth photographing.  Josh has been busy finishing up in school (only 12 more weeks), the kids are busy in school (& preschool) and their extra activities and I'm busy taking care of everyone and growing a baby!!

Josh just got back from Denver this week.  He was there interviewing for some jobs!!  We don't know anything yet but we'll let you know as soon as we do!!!

Haylee did have a family BBQ with the preschool a few weeks ago.  It was a PERFECT day!!  It was a little scary planning a BBQ in March in Portland but it could not have been nicer!!!

Still Alive

Every night I think..."I need to bring my camera upstairs and uploads pictures!!"  Nothing much has really been going on but life as been so busy at the same time!!  Josh is getting things together to finish up school, I'm now in my 3rd trimester of this pregnancy, and the kids are enjoying life!!  Here is a quick little video of Haylee swinging herself last week!!  She LOVES to swing so we've been working on pumping and she finally has it down!!!  She swung herself for about 20 minutes!!!
