Last weekend we took our final Oregon vacation!! Josh and his friend Markus have clinicals this week in southern Oregon, only 2 hrs from the Redwoods so we decided to rent a house for the weekend and enjoy the beautiful Redwood Forest!!! Our house was right on the beach and the weather was beautiful (I'm talking 80-90 degree sunny weather....which does NOT usually happen in May in Oregon)!!!
We got to our house about bedtime Thursday evening but of course the kids wanted to see the beach!!!
Beautiful sunset!! That is one thing I'll miss about Oregon...sunsets on the beach!!
The kids being weird!! After 7hrs in the car though, they deserve to be a little weird!!!
Friday morning we woke up and decided to explore the Redwoods. Because I am 35 weeks pregnant and 7 hrs from home we decided hiking was probably not a very good idea!! We just drove around some back roads and pulled over and walked around! Those trees are so HUGE and beautiful!!!
After our drive we went into Crescent City and they have this beautiful lighthouse you can only access during low tide!! We went there with Nana and Papa our 1st spring break here and it was really neat to go back!!

Markus has this tradition of running and dipping into water NO MATTER how cold it is and he always makes Dayloni go with him!! Garrett decided he wanted to join them this time!!!

And of course Haylee had to play in the sand!!
Saturday was another beautiful HOT day so we decided to go to the Smith River and PLAY!! The river was a lot (well somewhat) warmer than the ocean!!
Markus and Josh swam over to that huge rock and decided to jump off....of course it was Markus' idea and Josh got dragged into it!!

I wish we could have gotten up there to see you guys before you move! It looks so beautiful! But I am glad you will be close! Can't wait to have Suri play with your kids. And by the way.... you look cute pregnant! :-)
