Haylee's First Swim Lessons

We have been attending swim lessons since October, but you have to be 3 to go.  Haylee comes with me every time and watches Garrett.  She knows all the names to the moves, back floats, front floats, steam boats, etc.  She knows you have to keep your legs straight and kick you feet fast for your back kicks.....well on Monday she was able to go!!!  She was SO excited!!!

Garrett and Haylee are in the same pool but just different levels.  You can get an idea of how it's set up here....Haylee's class is the one of the right of the picture.  You can see they have a table in the pool for the kids to stand on.  Then Garrett is in the more advanced class (the top left of the picture) and they just have to hold on!!

Fun Filled Birthday DAY!!!

What a GREAT happy, happy birthday for my sweet THREE year old!!  Haylee woke up to her friends being here (our neighbor's dad got sick last night and had to go to the hospital so we kept their kids...but it was fun for Haylee!!).  She opened presents.....

Ate french toast.....

and then took the older kids to school!!  After the big kids were at school the party really started!!!

I took the girls to get their toes done, then to McDonald's for lunch, and Baskin Robbin's for dessert!!  

Daddy came home early and we went to go pick Garrett up from school a little early and made a trip to the water park!!!  The kids knew we were going somewhere fun but had NO IDEA until we were on our way!!  We saw a billboard about 10 miles away from the park and I pointed at and said, "lets go there!"  Haylee said, "TODAY!!"  They were SO EXCITED!!!

When we walked in the doors the first people we see are some of our good friends from church!!  What a coincidence!!  Haylee is good friends with their daughter Robyn!!

Haylee LOVED the water!!  She kept telling me to let her go so she could swim!!!  She hated me holding her hand!!

As you can see in these pictures she forcing me to let go and taking off!!

 

Garrett had a great time too!!!

After we left the water park we stopped at this Mexican restaurant on the way home!!

Garrett was teaching them how to sing some of his school songs!!

Haylee informed our waiter it was her birthday and she wanted them to sing to her....she got her wish!!

.....and she's THREE

Can you believe this precious little baby is THREE?!?  It really blows my mind....I think more so with Haylee than Garrett because she's my baby....I'm comparing her to Garrett and it doesn't seem possible!!  If we repeated life I'd have a 4 month old right now and we'd be preparing to move 2,000 miles away!!  

She really is growing up and isn't a baby or toddler anymore!!  She is ready for kindergarten!!
